As a naturopathic doctor and acupuncturist various aspects of one's life are important to me when working together to improve health. Physical comfort, emotional challenges, genetics, beliefs, and lifestyle all contribute to one's wellbeing. With this understanding, I take an integrated approach, incorporating natural therapies which work in harmony with the body to support its own inherent healing tendencies. I seek to provide treatment that is as unique and dynamic as each person who comes to see me.
I often will assess imbalances in neurotransmitters, hormones, food intolerances, and heavy metals, which are often related to emotional and mental difficulties, with functional laboratory testing. I earned my Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) and BS in Natural Health Sciences from Bastyr University in Kenmore, WA and my MS in Acupuncture from Tri State College of Acupuncture in New York, NY. I am a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and Washington State Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Currently I am working toward my certification as an Inner Relationship Focusing Teacher and I try to bring that gentle curiosity to all that I do.
